I found several pedometers I had were VERY unreliable. I ended up having to buy quite an expensive one. My walking is still a bit restricted as my boots hurt my,healing, ankle, but walking in dry areas in trainers should be Ok. I had planned on going out hiking on Tuesday, but I'm baby sitting my grandson and he's not yet able to do even a 2 mile hike. He's only 3 [he can do a bit over a mile a bit slowly. I must replace my pedometer, which has died.
Hana

I replaced my pedometer for that reason. I've found it to be fairly accurate at only £20

Nice one! Not risked the 25 minute sessions again then? Haha!

I'm thinking about trying the 45 minute one in the next few weeks. Might regret that

1,142 today so far. I've got a loooong meeting this afternoon so I'll be sitting for 4 hours. I don't expect a great count today

I am ACHING from yesterday's run though so I'm quite happy to sit still! I need to stretch it out though at some point

I'm up to 2365. Also have a meeting today, and Wednesday and Thursday. Boo! Thursday is in London though and what with the tube strike, I suspect I'll get my steps that day.

Yesterday I didn't quite make my 10k goal, getting 9135 but pretty darn close! Cardio tonight so hopefully I should get back on track today :)

2423 so far, lovely walk at lunchtime in the sun.

I'm determined to lose 2lbs by sat! I'll be the lowest weight I have been for years then!

I'm jealous, no sun here. I'm hobbling still though so a walk would have been a nightmare!

2517. Aiming for a lower target of 4000 today with my long meeting and sore muscles

I was averaging 11k between May and October but since then have hardly moved at all. I had a problem with my hip which put an end to that and the weight has been creeping up. Glad to see this thread as it will encourage me to get moving again. I have just retired from work and need to get moving again so that I dont put on any more weight. I am also thinking of taking up swimming and cycling.

724 today only :(

Another long meeting today but I'm hoping a short run tonight will help the step count. Only aiming for 1 mile but I'm hoping to run the whole way instead of stopping to walk

Went for a 45 minute walk at lunch time which I wouldn't have done if I hadn't bought a pedometer!
