Eat **** and take no insulin

How lovely would it be to just have a completely lazy day filling yourself with chocolate and snacks and not have to worry about injecting or checking bloods?
One day when they've found some sort of cure I hope!

Tbh didn't before and still don't now. I think that those of us who have had diabetes for a while don't miss it. Because we never had it.

I would love it! In fact, after I've had my HbA1c, I have 24 hours off where I go out for a curry, have rice, naan bread, a pudding and loads of beers. The next day, I'll eat loads of chocolate and once that's over with I go back to being good!

Yes it would be nice, even better would be not injecting or testing for the rest of our days.

Would be nice ...
To just grab my handbag and not have to stop to
do any or frequent BG tests/checks .
Nor have to think/confer with hubby about the numbers shown .
Neither have to do any insulin shots and keep with the regime .

Freedom to eat whatever fancy be a nice change !

Yeah - I'd go with a day off. Totally eat anything - If I wanted to. IF is the key word. Just to have a relief from it all for 24 hours.

Would be lovely wouldn't it. I'm on my way to work now and was gona grab a cheeseburger but don't have enough needles to last me til dinner so I can't :-( xxx

i would settle for keeping the same diet i have now and just not have to worry about the constant testing and calculating carb/insulin ratios, or worrying about hypos in my sleep. its so mentally taxing all the time. id just love some time off im so tired.

When I get my bloods done and get confirmation that my cholesterol is fine I treat myself to a Full English Breakfast
