Sorry to hear that you're having problems and Viagra isn't helping-Might be worth asking your doctor if you can try Cialis instead as some forum members have had better success using that instead of Viagra.

Best

Go back to your doc. There are other meds available. It's a common problem. Good luck !

It's a more common issue than you think.
Viagra didn't do it me. Didn't make me sick - in fact didn't make me anything!
I went back to doc and got cialas (Tadalafil) which works just fine.

One of the diabetic web sites recommended Levitra. I was prescribed Viagra, but my chemist gave me Sildenafil which was a fraction of the price. Didn't make me sick, did the trick, afterwards saw some strange colour sensations , bright light, ultra violet, reminded me of my student days.

I've tried:-

Cialis (useless)
Viagara -- worked but eventually didn't. Apparently you do become resistant to it.
Levitra - useless.

I now get Viridal - which you inject. Is painless, easy to use, and very very effective. Lasts for an hour or so. No side effects other than sporadic involuntary erections for 3-4 hours afterwards. But who's complaining.

Below - for any interested parties, is a photo of the applicator and a cartridge pack. There's an oxo cube just as a reference for scale. If anyone is interested and considering asking their clinician for it I'll make a short video clip of how quick it is to assemble it etc and forward it to you. After using one, I immediately prepare another so that reduces prep time even further.

If you are considering it, you will need to ask your Doctor/Diabetes nurse to refer you to your ED clinic. They will show you how to use it, let you try one, check the dosage and four hours later you phone them and if there are no adverse affects you get a note for your surgery to add it to your monthly prescription. You get one a week unlike the tablets (which are two a week) because it is obviously more costly.

Don't be bashful guys. It works and it's worth it.

Hello Andy.
Where do you get it and how /where do you you inject it?
Never heard of it.
Did try some ( 2 single doses of viagra from the Dr a couple of years ago and not even a sensation).
He asked once if any response but just dropped the subject - save money I guess. Just had my bloods done again for Diabetic clinic and the nurse questioned that I had already had a lot of blood tests. Only tend to have 2 a year - The full screen was over past 8-10 years, so after working all our lives are we not worth a blood test anymore so probably no chance of medication for lack of sex problem.
Regards Viv.

Ask your Doctor/nurse for a referral to the ED clinic (ED = Erectile Dysfunction). Tell the staff there that you would ;ike to go onto Viridal injections and they will then do the necessary as per what I wrote. You inject it into the side of your penis. Doesn't hurt - is a very fine needle and is far less of a prick than the lancets for your fingertip blood readings.

It's very quick and simple to assemble and I will make a video of me assembling one ready to use if you PM me an e-mail address.

You know you've lost interest in sex when you go to Amsterdam and search out the coffee shops rather than the red lights.

Glad I went to Amstradam in the army many years ago. Did not touch- knew better, but what a laugh and memory. Would be a dissappointing memory now as only mentally recognized . Did not drink the coffee either - stuck to beer.

I have just realised the post about seeing lights. I only tried the meds from Dr when he gave me them and no effect. However I recslled once getting out of bed - bit sharply and it was like I had hallucinations. It was like looking through a kaleidoscope - frightened me to death nearly and me 62yrs. The Dr put it down as possible blood pressure sudden change. Never had it since but also never tried any meds either. Was 42nd wedding anniversary yesterday - reminded me of the wedding night - nothing then either. Apparently it was my fault she had sistitus due to expecting - my fault of course,
