General question after experiencing the cold weather and being frustrated when wanting to check my bllod sugar in the cold.

Many a rime during this winter I have been frustrated that whenever I used to go out to play some sport (mainly football) in the cold, my glucose monitor did not work. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

I had to wait a while till someone held it between thier hands to warm it up.

I did also enquire about a glucose monitor that worked in the cold but did not receive any constructive help, just: "it should work."

Glucose Monitor = medisense optium exceed

Muhammad,

There's a thread Meter Readings In The Cold that describes the various tricks and techniques that people have invented for dealing with current weather.

Regards, Tubs.
