With the Cancer Council in Australia estimating that off all new cancer cases being reports, over 80% account for skin cancer, public health officials in several Australian states are in the process of banning the use of indoor skin tanning bed. The latest initiative is in the state of Victoria where lawmakers banned tanning devices effective end-2014. With Victoria's action, five of the eight Australian states and territories have now banned the use of tanning salons and devices.

To be honest Jessica, I feel that it would be safer, all round, not to use sunbeds at all ever. There has been a 70% increase in malignant melanoma (skin cancer) over 10 years in UK I understand.

Late onset T1, several auto immune issues.
Humalogmix25 twice a day, Methotrexate 25mg once per week, FolicAcid 5mg once per week, prednisolone 5mg daily, Allopurinol 300mg, Calcichew-D3 800iu, Levothyroxine 50mcg, Atenolol 50mg, Losarten 100mg, Aspirin 75mg, Nicorandil 20mg, Nitrolingual GTN spray, Metformin 2000mg, Allimemazine 10mg, Lanzoprazole 30mg, Atorvastatin 20mg, Co Codamol 8/500mg, Depo Medrone (Methylprednisolone) or double Prednisolone for 7 days in case of RA flare.

Pump
Check the pump's own manual but if in any doubt just take it off, like you probably would for a shower. You don't want cooked insulin or a fried pump.

And please consider very seriously the advice about cancer.

I have no idea what an omnipod is but general opinion seems to be that sun beds are not good for health
