No I can't say I do, has this just started or have you had this weakness for a while? if you've not seen your gp or diabetes consultant about it I would book an appointment.

Yes I have. Like you it is not all the time. I notice it more when I am gardening.

I have had it past year or so its very.strange its if you dont have strenth.in your hands like to say push something together like say you were lighting candles and had to push.the.lighter down its if its hard.to a weakness in them sometimes my hands go into.cramp very easy too x

I experience this from to time, usually when I am tired. Possibly it is not just a diabetic thing and rather a normal human thing

Not sure if it's the same thing but I had a weakness that made opening packets that have to be pulled apart at the top. An (I thought) unrelated incident showed a disc in my back had slipped. I had no pain. Had the disc popped back in and the weakness stopped.

As a guy who lifts weights quite often I notice I have this hours after a hypo, its like a hypo lowers my strength and energy for the rest of the day.

I get it at bed time when im tiered i dont think iv hurt.my back im only 22 xx

I get this too, can't open things or grip well and I shake ( not a hypo shake). It makes me wonder if it's a nerve thing. Again it's not all the time

Yeah thats what i ment grip but couldnt explain i mentioned it to a nurse when i was in.hoapitsl with dka but she just sort of put it over her .. i have docs on mondsy i.am going to.ask about it i thought maybe it wasnt related to.diabetes and im just over reacting does your hands go into.cramps very easily ? Xx

Can you put your hands together and your fingers touch together is if you are praying . if not then you may have diabetic hand syndrome . I have an appt with a hand specialist in few weeks for my hands . do you have bent fingers and can't straighten them ?

Someone in another thread mentioned clumsy hands. That's how mine feel. Much colder than they used to be too, but they are a bit better since eating more fat and b12 supplement.

I get clumsy hands to, drop stuff all the time. One dr suggested it was carpel tunnel but I'm not convinced. I get pins and needles in my fingers a lot to.
