I looked into cinnamon,but it said the Chinese cinnamon would be dangerous to the liver if too much was taken, or for a long time, the true cinnamon doesn't effect the blood sugars though

hi my name is Jill, i was told i'm diabetic 4months ago, i've been looking at this site but didn't want to talk about it.
I've been lucky to have a nurse who is very helpful and well informed my first bloods were 12.? after 3 months 8.4 i did my own a couple of weeks ago 5.4, i've been doing low carb high fat.

i like swimming and photography, my husband has been wonderful and is eating as i am, we have a cat who is about 16 so doesn't do much.

i struggle when i think i have it worked out and then read some thing that trows me, i don't like having to give it so much thought.

i see the nurse again in August, i hope i can stay of meds as i have so far, i've lost one and a half stone, now i seem a bit stuck, i lots more to get off.
