I found this in one of Pipps posts and thought that this was great......

I think it was Kate Moss who once said "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". I would say "nothing tastes as good as diabetes reversal feels".

Cheers, at risk of annoying some people I have got there.
Not smug though, just being vigilant so diabetes doesn't sneak back uninvited.

Had a very sharp reminder that I have diabetes today. Work colleague came over. Thought would leave earlier so held off eating till left. Bs then in low 4sbat 9:20. Ate but felt dizzy. Took hour to get back to mid 4s. Then dropped so ate to choccie fondant choccies for hit of sugar. Straight up to 5.5. Banging headache and just want to sleep. Now 9 1 an hour after eating 2 chocs. Going to drink water. Feel like ****!

Oh, dear.
I remember how scary that can be.
I think I am fortunate that I have the time, after years of putting others first, to concentrate on my own care now.
