Hello,
Since nov2008, i have been getting a few problems. The worst was a rash which my doctor hinted on psoriasis. My granny has psoriasis. I am waiting to see a dermatologist. A trigger for psoriasis can be a yeast infection. I am currently going through my 3rd yeast infection since then. Though the rash cleared up.
I have also been getting bald patches on my legs. I thought it was great - less shaving! But i still got my doctor to check it out and my thyroid blood result came back fine. I was told by my doctor it was something to do with the rash I have also been getting cold feet, sometimes. They were so cold once, they were numb, i couldn't hardly feel them. The internet mentioned diabetes, which is why im here.
I have also been losing energy. I dont have half as much as i used to. I am really feeling tired after 10 hours of sleep a night. I hate not having energy, i used to exercise in a gym 4 times a week and i dont have the energy to do anything anymore. I have been blaming the winter weather though! I passed out once back in feb. It was first thing in the morning before breakfast.
I have also been feeling thirsty alot and going to the loo alot.
But the past few days, i have had enough. I have a small bald patch in my eyebrow. Anywhere but my face and head. But it all started with small patches on my legs. I am going to the doctor first thing on monday and i am not going out the door until they do every type of test.
I have an identical twin sister. She is overweight (i am not). She to has bald pathches on her legs. Alot more than me. She is also very tired and sleeps more than me. She has also complained about blurry vision.
Can all this possibly be a sign of diabetes? And hair loss?
Thanks
