Hi, I'm T1 for 18 months controlled by insulin.

Interested in your ability to control with tablets. Very rare! They sure it's T1 rather than LADA or MODY? Is it just metformin you take?

Could it be a new insulin tablet? I remember reading about these some time ago when they were still in development. Type 1 diabetes can only be treated with insulin

I am curious to know the details of your diabetes............

do you produce your own insulin? I would assume yes if all you need is tablets to control your blood sugars.....

type 1 and 1.5, which for me are both versions of type 1 with regards their manifestation, both need insulin as the beta cells have been or are in the process of being destroyed...

is this process taking place in you.........?

I have been type 1 for 15 years now, been pumping for a year and a half........:)

I can't remember the tablets I'm on and yes I do produce insulin on my own but it's not strong enough to do it without medication and there's not more I can tell you, but I'll try :)

The prescription label, as well as the tablet packaging will say what the name of the drug is.

People who don't listen to others i.e. the 8 members of this forum I have put on ignore as they talk such utter **** all the time. This now includes the member who thinks they are a moderator.
If the op knows everything about diabetes then they know the name if their tablets. Of course the weekend is approaching which brings the sock puppets and trolls out in force.....
