It's mildly hallucinogenic ...What does it say on tin? I drink it, but mainly decaff version as caffeine does bad things to my anxiety levels. Be careful if you drink a lot of it- it's mildly hallucinogenic. There's a story by Saki I think called the Monkey's Paw which is about its effects. And an episode of Wexford. It is an acquired taste I think but one that is easy to acquire. Most teabag versions don't have a lot of flavour. The real stuff is a lot grassier in flavour.

I'm thinking aiding weight loss.
Can it be drunk with a dash of milk and maybe a sweetener?
Silage?More like a cup of warm wet grass.
Silage?
Yep, I'm starting on the green tea today too! My personal reason is that it contains L-theanine which has a relaxing effect on brain and body. It's meant to cause an increase in alpha brain waves which are associated with being relaxed and alert but not wound up. They also reduce cortisol in the body (whereas beta waves increase it).....so now I've just got to be brave enough to actually drink some....I'll let you know if it works....
Wow, I like the sound of not being wound up. And if it means being relaxed and alert instead, that sounds even better.

Hmmm.....well that's what the book I'm reading said. At the moment it's not working too well because I'm getting wound up at having to drink it! Yuck...Still I'll persevere for a while
20 times! Help.Green tea is vile.
I must have tried it 20 times, each time hoping I could get to like it this time... Given up now.
20 times! Help.
