Of course we have our differences, like the LCHF/NHS hooey, but I still appreciate the existence of the NHS, as I do appreciate the UK and can't see that our national differences justify breaking it up. Breaking up a small united kingdom on the grounds of ethnicity with a referendum that doesn't cater for all the voices that should be heard? Very strange.

BUT
Yes independence would have had an effect on the rest of the UK. Scotland does not feel it is being supported and looked after, hence the demand for more powers etc. Why should we stay in the UK if it means we'll be worse off just to keep the rest of you happy?
(Except in this instance I don't think we would have been better off leaving!)
