Thanks for that link guys, will check it out properly tomorrow . Am only up now as....... Hypo! @donnellysdogs, with regards the extra shot of insulin, yes I would consider it if I was well, but things are too up and down at the moment for me to do that without speaking to my DSN, I know I am allowing extra as to my meter, but that is under the guidance. If I was well and more stable, yes, I would probably have done that anyway. But, and this is a big but, I found the culprit. Had bought myself some sugar free throat sweets the other day so gobbled three or four over that time frame. Went in my bag, just now, found a packet of sugar free throat sweets...... I had had the ones my husband had the other week . What a tit. Still it's nice to have it explained. And big thanks again guys, been wanting a whinge, and the hubby just doesn't get the head work side of diabetes, and he was working today too x

I don't know if you have this stuff, but these workbooks are good for carb counting, I:C and corrections etc
This set of workbooks are worth reading and practising working examples only of carbs and doses
Don't change dose without nurse approval

Thanks! X feeling much better today, just all bunged up and a bit sleepy, but that was due to a midnight hypo, and an icy cold 6 year old climbing into bed at 4 am when we had to be up for 6.30 lol. Even after the sugar bump from the hypo, still 10.9 before breakfast which is better than anticipated so having a lazy day recovering x
