It is raining here at minute! I feel a bit better in my self! My doctor is looking into getting me tablets for feeling so down!
My tests have come back positive that I am starting to go through the menopause! I know that it can take years to start etc! But with the bad health etc maybe it is a good thing!
Found out also today that i have redone my tendon in back of my leg again! I have been told that i should carry on what i am doing and keep going the way that i am doing! I have mananaged to lose 2 lbs in a week again!

well done sandy

Things can only get better and better. Numbers are getting there and when you get them down to even better levels you will feel even better in yourself (how many betters can one person fit it  )
Did they say if asthma inhalers will impact on your bg - I believe it can so just keep an eye on it.

Also, good you are seeing an endo and GP is happy to do that.

As for the rain.........

Hi totsy,
Hope you feeling a little better!
I feel better today, even better now that i have my result in single numbers I think the low carb is working! Just took a little while to take affect!
HI ken
Thanks for the kind words! I feel so much better today! Much more alive! Other than the asthma causing breathing issues other than that alot better!
Can't wait for my collins gem carb counter book to arrive, hopefully over next few days! Then i can really get started on all of this!
I would like to thank everybody who has given me the strenth to carry on thank you all for being there for me and giving me the push that i needed! The good advice that you have all offered!

Glad you're feeling better, Sandy; it's a b*gger when you're having a bad time with the asthma too. I'm the same at the mo with a chest infection - bs gone loopy. The low-carb is such a Godsend when it comes to lowering bs...I'm so glad I found this forum!
Keep on keeping on, Sandy!

Good for you sandy. I too have asthma. My BG soared a couple of weeks ago after I thought I had it under control and I didn't know why. I had broken a rib and suspected that. I now realise that because of the broken rib the pain of coughing was ***** so I was inhaling far more salbutamol than normal - and that seemingly is the culprit for increased readings.

Keep up the good work

Sandy I'm so glad you got some support from your GP and you're starting to get a handle on your diabetes.

Onwards and upwards from here!!

At last someone's finally listening to you!

IMO it's been a bad pollen season here, the rape and tree pollen is all flying around simultanously, the car's sunroof looks like the Sahara, many people have been suffering, I had to get mother another course of steroids (she has COPD and was really having serious breathing difficulties) and I had a severe coughing fit on the way downtown yesterday. This might well be what's setting off your asthma.

It seemed to improve a bit when the wind blew all the pollen away but now I think it's blown all the European pollen over to us. :(

I recived a phone call earlier from eye spoecialist's clinic he is hopefully going to make a special appointment to see me in 2 to 3 weeks as soon as he can! His clinic is full!
My doctor phoned him this morning saying that it is urgent as she has seen for herself what my eyesight is like!
Even still my eyes react to light shone into them! My eyesight is not getting any better!
Had to go and see dentist today as part of my bad wisdom tooth broke, He said he cannot still remove it as still got abcess in there! But more anti botics, Been on them for a while now, don't seem to be doing anything!
Sat here nursing a bad tooth at mo!
