Pancake day

Or to give it its proper title Shrove Tuesday. So did you? Or were you good?
Afraid I fall into former camp. Tried a recipe last year with psyllium husk and diabetic jam. Tasted fine but we both had a very close relationship with the loo.
So had 2 normal with jam and whipped cream. Am sure will pay for it in about half an hour!

I to have a jar of the diabetic one ...

Yeah, I like the pancakes, and crumbles, but will do oopsies and almond crumbles as substitutes. Can't think of anything decent to put on the pancake substitutes, though, might do butter and cinnamon. Yum.

All sounds nice ...cinnamon is yummie

I do half almond flour crumble ...with organic flour ..
I hsve used coconut as well , but better for cakes , I am a novice baker

Well I just use half almond flour with half normal flour ....reduced carbs for me ...on crumble ...
Xylitol
And butter or spread ....olive oil one I like...

I use one bag of the frozen berries for the crumble ....easy ...

Or make Apple , if Apple I cook them a bit first and add cinimmon ...

I just adapt any crumble mixture , you might use all almond flour....

Or make a half almond crumble and one half normal crumble for Mr Scandichic..

Ooo that half and half crumble could catch on

I figured **** it I'm having me a treat so made proper pancakes with sugar and lemon.

Based off the carbs and cals app they are 44g of carbs each and I had two so injected a healthy (my biggest ever) 18 unit shot of novorapid and went for it...

And looking at my numbers pretty much nailed it plus had a very very yummy treat!
