Hello everyone, I met up with my boyfriends sister on Wednesday after a bit of a worry at the weekend. The worry being that she is expecting her 2nd child in July (she's not diabetic) but she had ketones at some point during the night and then in the morning after hours of sickness/headaches etc when taken to hospital she had her bloods tested and was 3.4 I think she said... Obviously she was very worried but described the feeling of it as "being in marshmallow land" >>> couldn't help but laugh at this description :D she's all ok now blood sugar back to normal.

Just wanted to let you know as I have never heard a hypo described as this before and it made me (and her, after) laugh :) xx

I know lol funny isn't it! She also said she felt so relaxed like mind was willing but body wasn't, to get something sugary that is. It was great chatting to her about it as like I said she's not even diabetic!

She's had further tests and all is well thank you :)
