Pizza Base ?

Wondering if anyone uses the cauliflower pizza base please and if so , is it good ? Pizza is about the only thing I really miss, thanks .

I've made this before, although im not really a pizza fan. Works well as a low carb substitute

I use the mix of blitzed cauliflower with 100g ground almonds and 2 beaten eggs. It makes 7g of carbs for the whole pizza base.

I've made the cauliflower base, I used lots of chees in it as I cannot stand cauliflower, but when mixed with the cheese it's actually quite nice. I found getting all the water out of it a little difficult but it was dry enough so worked ok

A friend of mine tried a minced turkey pizza base. She mixed minced turkey with an egg and black pepper and olive oil sprayed a grease proof sheet, shaped the base into a roundish shape using her hands, and to a similar depth of a pizza. Baked it in the oven for ten minutes and then popped the topping on and back in the oven to cook through. She said it was delicious. I will get more detailed instructions lol x

I make pizzas using portabello mushroom caps. I rub them with olive oil, flip them over (top side down in pan/baking sheet) and cook them until softened. Then, add my sauce, cheese, meats and melt.

I tried the cauliflower base & didn't love it which is weird because I do love cauliflower. Yesterday I just put some tomato paste/pizza sauce on a toasted piece of flax/psyllium 'bread' & melted the cheese on top - that was lovely Good hit of potassium too.
