Jack - the info you sent about the monitor said there's a choice of One reading in mmol/L and the other reading in mg/dL.
I don't know which would be best, or why. Any tips?

mmol/l is the uk 5.5 is normal, so that would be the one.
mg/dl is usa 100 is normal

After reading this, I'm glad I didn't take up my DN's offer of referral to a dietician! I said I'd see how I got on over the next three months before I have to go back for next Hba1c. 9 days in to LCHF and my average bs for the last week is 6.9. Not fairing too badly on my own I don't think!

Lol, she really didn't like me - and my crazy low carb ideas. Haven't heard from the surgery so hopefully her telling tales hasn't had any effect.
