Thankyou pasha, so many wonderful friends to thank on this forum for all the encouragement. Now now, credit where its due, believe me I use correct portion sizes and am on 14 grams[net] carbs a day. Also I am pre diaibetic. I guess that you are T2, which makes you a model of what can be done, and an inspiration to anybody trying to control their BGs
Hey gabe thats nice, how are you feeling?6.9 fasting
I don't get them during the day, just 3 or 4 am then unable to settle back to sleep for ages! I'm thinking more hormonal- but it was the reason my GP said to stop my forxiga that I'd been on for 6 months, blaming going too low (I had achieved a hba1c of non-diabetic 38 then) other gp did bloods a few weeks ago for hormones and thyroid, rang for results and reception said "no further action" but when I saw dn the other day she said if it's still happening then I DO need to see him again. I'm due the results of my bloods again this week as part of my review so will wait for them then hopefully get a gp appointment!Kim, I get that also. Like hot flushes but thought it was strange I have them the same time everyday. Mr Dr suggested I set an alarm a few nights for an hour before it happens and test then. I did and nothing untoward. So it seems it is just synchronised hot flushes.
Your body telling you to rest. Hope you feel better soon. If your weather has been like ours you've not missed much... Other than getting wet..Fasting 8.0 this morning - feeling absolutely rotten and woozy.
8.2 after breakfast and still feeling ill, and got migraine now too (a result of our windy and stormy weather today) , so completely zonked out for the best part of the day... A lovely way to spend the holiday weekend!
