Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
I've been struggling all winter to keep weight off - peak weight was 12 stone 10 lbs.
I thought this was partially due to less exercise in the winter months.
[Please note, summer exercise can be a 50k bike ride three times a week.]
Now we are going through spring into summer my weight is coming down without me increasing my exercise at all.
This morning I weighed 12 stone 4 lbs.
So now I am wondering if the longer days mean that I don't associate darkness with evening meal around 16:00 and start to feel hungry.
Alternatively, does extra sunlight produce extra endorphins so you don't crave food as much?
I know the last week or so I have been able to walk past shelves of bread and the smell of chips without any twinge, unlike the winter months.
Something has changed - just not sure what.
