Have only been taking metformin for 10 weeks . The brand was Diagemet xl.
Just got new prescription home and they are now Bolamyn Sr?
Is this ok?
Should i return them to my pharmacist?

both are a slow release and metformin is metformin, I don't think you will notice, but I've been wrong before :)
if you do, this one could be the good one?

The only problem will be getting them down. They are massive.

I must have been given at least six different brands of slow release Metformin in the last couple of years. The only difference I can tell between them is the size of the tablets. Bolamyn are quite big, and the smallest I've had are Metabet.

I'm on Bolamyn and its ruining my life...... If you have any side effects, tell them you want to go back to your original.

Just been prescribed Metabet. Do you think it will affect me the same way Bolamyn did.? It's the same medicine I guess

Dislikes
Acceptance of health treatment claims that are not adequately supported by evidence. I dislike it when people sell ineffective and even harmful alternative health products to exploit the desperation of people with chronic illness.
Yes it's the same medicine, I wouldn't expect much difference. :(

There have been supply issues with Glucophage SR and we had to resort to running around pharmacies and getting Bolamyn. GP gave me an extra prescription so I have 2 weeks reserve now. It's not the first time this has happened but GPS in my town weren't informed of the problem this year.
