Got a late appointment with podiatrist on Wednesday evening . She had a look and said it looked and identified it as a blister . It was the size of a tiny pea but I told her I couldn't put any weight on it as it was just right in the middle of the soul of my right foot so she drained it and then dressed it with spongy stuff, when she was finished I stood up and not surprisingly to me I could still feel it even with the padding , she seemed a little surprised , she told me to leave the dressing on for a few days but to contact her if anything strange starts to happen , does anyone know how many days after a blister is lanced you should stop feeling it and how many days it takes to get through until your protected from infection?
