Vitamin B complex

Is anybody able to tell me if it is ok for someone who is type 2 to take a vitamin B complex supplement?
I read on the bottle that it helps release energy from food and I wondered if that would raise BG levels.
Thanks in advance.

soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
In theory if you have a good diet, you shouldn't need it. My T1 husband does take Benfotiamine and it doesn't seem to cause problems.

I have a reasonably good diet although I am deficient in vitamin D3 so I was prescribed a supplement for that.
B complex was suggested by a friend who noticed I was a bit run down.

I take vit b complex because I live in Scotland and the midges don't bite me when I take it.

It does turn urine an almost fluorescent yellow!

I did want to ask about vitamin supplements as well. I give my husband vit C 500mg, and D3 2000iu a day, I was told to take these because I have ME and get very run down, so thought best to give him them as well. Don't give him any Bs because he get B12 shots every month.

I use Higher Nature "B-Vital".

I do a lot of keep fit but I'm not up to writing on the snow!

We don't even get snow in Scotland. Just rain summer, winter, spring, autumn.

I take a special B12 called (Mecobalamin). Regular b12 has a hard time to enter the body. I doenot affect my glucose levels.
Many diabetics are B12 deficient.
