Novo Levemir Insulin Shortage?

My chemist is having trouble obtaining Novo Levemir insulin. Is anyone else having this problem or who knows anything about the shortage?

May well be just their wholesaler struggling to get hold of the insulin, have you tried another pharmacy?

This is one I use and have never had problems getting it, it's a really popular insulin so I don't see why they'd ever have a shortage of it. Did you try other pharmacies?

I have just got my six month supply of levemir. Chemist didn't mention anything.

Six month supply? **** I get mine in two months.

I only get a 6 (ish) week supply at a time.

Depends how much you use. I get 10 pen fills at a time, so 3000u. I use 22 a day. They last me the best part of five months.

What!? I only get 5 cartridges a time and they last about 3 weeks
