Bullies
I have been making my own low carb pasta using gluten flour (7g/100g)(from internet), soya flour (22g/100g)(whole foods shop) and a little whole meal spelt flour 66g/100g). No good if you're coeliac but most of us aren't. Far more pleasant than shredded cabbage with a pasta sauce. I also make my own flat breads etc with same ratios for tuna wraps etc.
@piersie what reaction have you had to your bgs with your gluten free flour?

Brilliant Celeriac, I'm vegetarian (verging on vegan) so I'm struggling a bit with lo-carb. I've have missed out the meat, fish, etc obviously, but it's a good start for a list for me too. If there are any other veg*ans out there with good lo-carb shopping list ideas I'd love to hear them! :)

I tried almond butter from Sainsburys instead of peanut butter. Delicious! I have it on fine ground oatcakes.

I've never bought it myself, must try it!, but I'm sure I've seen it in Tesco or Asda
Thanks. Not tried asda very far for me but I will go and look. Saw it often last year in sainsburys during winter so maybe it's a seasonal veg. Will look. Thanks for reply

Rear fog lights, company cars and white vans. Doctors who do not have a clue or just don't care.
I can't add to the shopping lists as I have only just discovered the LCHF diet, but I do wish all of my new found 'best' friends for the shopping lists. It's BRILLIANT!

Really ??
Only 2% sugars (1.6g per biscuit). 5.5g of carbohydrate per biscuit. They were available to us on the DESMOND course I went on.
I have one or two with a cup of tea.

It really depends on how low you go - two of these biscuits would be almost half my daily carb intake. Others who eat 100g carbs per day would be able to manage it, as long as their meter confirms that their BG is fine.

I think you might be able to. Left click and highlight the entire list. Right click and you should have the option to 'Print'.

I'm on an iPad and don't know how to "right click" so I'd "copy" & "paste" onto something that I know I can print once I'm home, like an email to myself, for example.

LOL, still hardly low carb at 5.5 g per biscuit , how much does a biscuit weigh ? All the rich tea's I've found are around 70 g of carbs per 100 g of biscuit. Not low carb. I imagine these are addictive, I couldn't stop at 2!
