General query about weight

Ino when I went the GP and she did a urine test she said I didn't have diabetes, but had ketones due to not eating yesterday, as I thought if I ate it couple of altered the result.

Recently because I've been feeling so ill, I'll I have been eating every day for the past week and half, is a cereal bar of the morning and than a snack of a little Apple pack lunch box loaf by the company that do banana bread, and than for tea time all that's been is 2 slices of toast with cheese on and tomato sauce and 4 sausage rolls, as stomach ache and nausea make me feel like if I eat different things will it go worse, but proves even if I don't eat still have stomach ache etc.

My query is would this make you lose 10lbs in 2 weeks as its bout 1,400 calories a day
As last time I checked my weight about 2 half weeks ago I was15 stone 4/5 lbs, but my scales can be faulty due to batteries and went on today to be curious and was 14 stone 9lbs.

I hope that one of the Type 1's or 1.5's would answer your original query, though I'm confused as to why the GP didn't also do a blood test to check your blood glucose levels. Why are you eating such a high carb diet? I don't quite get that part of it.

I would certainly be concerned by ketones and rapid weight loss.

I am not trying to eat high carb, what I have been eating, it seems to be the only thing that I eat that doesn't agitate my stomach or symptoms any more than it already is and I don't know why they didn't do blood test, she give me antibiotics for a UTI and said that she knows I didn't have a water infection, but she doesn't Know what else it could be.

On the day I had the ketones I hadn't eaten anything previous to appointment as didn't know wether that could alter any test she may of done and that's why she said I had ketones, but it's only the past two weeks I've felt extremely worse than before that, as previous to the two weeks I had just stomach ache and nausea, but in the two weeks I had all symptoms I explained on previous post.

I will I just have I wait until next week know for another appointment, as going to take antibiotics to please her, even though ino it's not going to work as she has previously given me 3 lots of antibiotics for my other auto immune disease when I have a flare up.

I would certainly go back to your G.P and insist on a referral for some blood tests. If they refuse insist on a second opinion from a different Dr. You could also ask them for a referral to see a specialist and perhaps an endoscopy to see whats going on in your stomach.

Stand your ground and dont let them fob you if you are not satisfied complain or look at changing to a different Drs surgery

Thanks and I will, I doesn't matter what I eat, I could eat nothing and still have extreme stomach ache and nausea, and my other symptoms all day every day, sometimes I feel the urge to go the toilet more to pee than normal, but it's not excessive and I went the doctors on my own for the first time, as I thought it would make me look more grown up and competent of looking after my own health and that's the thing with my GP they always fob you off with other things.

I know this isn't addressing you fear or the keystones, but you have changed the batteries in the scales and checked that weightless? Though I think you'll notice that much in looser clothing. As others say keep hassling the doctor.

I will do and I've noticed a remarkable loss in stomach chub as I say to what I had before nearly flat and I am going to it's hard to get them out and I will do thanks again.
