Hi regulars and newbies I know everyone is different and unice. Just wonder has anyone kind of same experience with unpredictable low blood sugar? I have times where my bg is normal, doesn't go under 4 at all. Then I have times, for weeks, where my bg is constantly under 4 down to 2.6. Lately I don't feel the symptoms as much as I used to. Maybe my body got used to low! But when I get lows like that I get other symptoms after.Ezymas, low blood pressure, low body temperature, freezing cold hands and feets who gets like numm, swollen joints and face. Mostly I get one of that and when it is getting better I get something els! I tryed lc diet but my bs dropped constantly, only sugar and carb brought it back up to normal. Still have to mind not to eat too much carb! I cut out a good bit sugar too. After a operation, not eating for nearly 24 hours. I didn't go low, no I got 2 toast w. Butter and Jam and my bs got up to 14.1 exactly the opposit! Doc and nurses thought I am weard. Any one els like that?

Hi jey my blood sugar was dropping low in the summer between4s and2s all through June. In the end I reduced by trial and error from 34 units ins basal once a day to 28 units and from 1metformin twice a day (1000 mg slow release)and 1 ,80 mg gliclazide80ml twice a day eventually getting down to half a tab of each once a day. it stopped the hypos but I spike between 8 to 15 bs sometimes a bit higher at lunch each day .need to see dbn about this .hope this helps kk
PS didn't have your side affects though jey could be nerve problems I'd seek advice from dB nurse about this you want to keep nerve damage at bay.they don't recover don't want to scare you though good luck☺ this is my first post by the way kk

I do not have diabetes
Are you both on lchf diets and T2Ds?
D.
Jey has not been diagnosed properly, don't think they have a clue! I think he is Hypoglycaemic.
The second poster is definitely T1. But doesn't realise that Jey doesn't need insulin!

They did a blood test, some different tests then I had in the past! Still waiting to get a result, if. Did u have good expirience with endo and diabetic nurse?!

Hey Jey have you been tested for hypothyroidism as all of your symptoms could be connected to that? If so find out what your tsh was and post the result and the lab range for me to have a look. There is a huge issue with doctors telling people they are fine when are quite literally bordering hypo blood results and displaying symptoms. Such people should be treated and will resolve theIr symptoms if the thyroid is to blame x
