i was diagonosed 50 yrs ago type 1 although my brother thinks it was longer than that. I have done DAFNE and followed the regime of 5 jabs a day but lately had bad swelling and lumps also insulin now working very well now. I was recommended for a pump by my GP but consultant has said no. Had a lot of laser on eyes 10yrs ago. They have now put me on Humulin M3 just two a day. Wish i could get a pump..
