    That's very true, think the number 1 rule of diabetes is to control it and not let it control you. Otherwise it can have a real bad effect on both...

    First HbA1c since diagnosis results

    From what I've been told, people with diabetes should always have a Hba1c slightly higher than those people who do not have diabetes.

    Yeah reading about it all is quite a scare! Diabetes can bring some many unknown complications and I don't think society knows enough about it.

    When's your DDay (Diabetes day)?

    Hba1c down from 86(12.3) to 38(5.6) in 3 months diet and exercise only and the love of this forum

    Well done, should be very proud! I'm finding it hard to stay on track! It's easy to slip off and get high blood sugars and eat sugary foods...
