    I have made sourdough as well. I used a whole wheat starter. Good stuff. With the discard I had made crackers, pancakes, and a lovely cinnamon swirl bread.

    That's like the bakery here, from scratch, local flour they grind on premises. Supermarket " sourdough " is often made from a mix and just not worth it.

    What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

    7 at 8:00. I had taken my reading at 3:47 and was 5.8, at 5:21 it was 5.7. I wanted to see if and how much dawn phenomenon got to me. Can you tell it was a restless night?

    May I pop in with a question about how you know what fruit is spiking your glucose? How do you test? Eat it on it's own (i. e. a snack) and test in an hour? Two? Or as part of an overall meal?

    I do a gentle exercise class at my local community center, it's seated, but you can stand if you choose as well for the cardio. Check into local classes. Is there a local community tv channel? We have one here that has senior exercise for all levels. As mentioned You Tube has lots of videos...
