I use ripe avocados as an substitute to butter. I would not imagine eating it without any addons :) It's also a good ingredient of many salads.
I've look at the data again and avocados contain about 0.66g of pure sugars for 100g, and almost 485mg of potassium so quite a lot, as you have...
As far as I know, Avocados contain about 9 grams of carbs per 100g, but I'm not sure if it is a problem from diabetes perspective.
