    I fast through breakfast. A lot of literature you read promoting breakfast comes from interest groups who benefit from you eating breakfast. If I was to eat breakfast, I would stick to something that would not move the needle with your sugar, like eggs or a 1/2 avocado.

    Almost forgot to add that the dill pickles help as a side dish when eating my meals. I noticed my numbers tend to be better if I eat something with vinegar with my meal. Of course you cannot over due it, but it does help.

    Jaynet, thanks for your reply. My first cup of coffee in the morning is usually with a tsp of coconut oil with full cream plus a sprinkle of cinnamon. I drink a lot of water throughout the day, I must admit it does get boring. Last cappuccino for me was before the diagnosis.
