    You're certainly not alone, temptations abound @MrsA2 and it's going to get worse next month. It's my contention that retailers lay in Christmas fare early to tempt us, knowing that once purchased, most of us will sample it and end up buying some more for the main event.

    That halibut and crayfish dish sounds wonderful @MrsA2, but unfortunately halibut is becoming very expensive. in some recipes haddock achieves the result you want and it is underrated IMO.
