    I am on metformin and thry have me glimepiride but I didn't take the glimepiride as I thought I'd try with diet but I'll start the glimepiride tomorrow and see if that helps

    I have brought my bs down years ago with diet , and gone off the wagon a lot , had a few years of stress and loss of my mum amd dad so I'm trying to get back to looking after myself x

    My meals are 2 vouked eggs for breakfast on 1 ryvita , ham salad for lunch , then pork scratchings for a treat or some chicken drumsticks , pick on cheese throught day and for tea bit really any carbs just meat amd salad again may have a few squares of 90% dark choc on a eve but that's about it...

    I've been doing the LCHF for few weeks now, and still my numbers are in double figures, before breakfast usually around 11 or 12 and mostly 11 to 13 or 14 through the day ,my HBA1C was 120 last bloods about 6 week ago , will it take a while to get down to lower figures am I just inpatient

    Mine that I have been using was 10.5 and the new one that the doctors gave me was 14.3 yes they are all in date.

    I have been measuring my bloods at home for a fee weeks now with my own monitor, my doctor prescribed me one of theres, I tested it on both and the one I got from the doctors is a lot higher readings than mine , I don't know which reading is right
