iphone ios 17 update shuggah apple watch

Hi holdem. Sorry for being a bit dim but I’ve been having the same problems and followed your instructions earlier. Mine was great too and now it’s gone again. Would you mind just telling me how to do that. I’ve been through all the obvious things and can’t find where to allow all contacts...

    Clarithromycin, Levemir and hypos?

P.s I looked it up at the time and it said it had “stomach emptying qualities”, which heightened insulin sensitivity. I think sometimes it can be prescribed in low doses to reduce insulin resistance from what I remember. I’m sure somebody will jump in if that’s not right. I’m going by memory.

    Clarithromycin, Levemir and hypos?

Hi. I had the same experience with Erythromycin, for sure. But I was on it for 3 months ( a few times for Rosacea), so had to change background and ratios each time.

Avoiding fructose - best home-mixed drink for low blood glucose?

Hi. Very interesting reading and info. Thanks for that. You could try “Lift” glucose liquid. Available from Amazon in little transportable bottles with 15g carb in each. They are pure glucose so it doesn’t have to be converted by the body , like for example digesting a jelly baby. So the...

Type 1 12 years of type 1 and I have never experienced this!

I have this all the time and end up having to recalibrate my background, and doing the best I can to stay safe with fast acting until the rapid dropping settles down and then I can introduce proper fast acting ratios again. Even though I’m on Tresiba, I get this phenomenon from time to time...

    usually low for a week

In my case it won’t be monthly cycle related as I’m into the menopause now. But it could definitely be hormone related due to the menopause I guess. I’m on MDI so just having to feel my way through it. My evening meal ratio last night was still 1:40. It’s a bit of a challenge being so sensitive.

    usually low for a week

I’ve just remembered this happened to me once before a good few years ago, at a similar time of year oddly. My endo suspected addison’s disease but the test came back negative.

    usually low for a week

Very interested to hear from izzi1234 what happened next because I’m just having the same experience. I’ve reduced my Tresiba down from 15.5 to 14 and it seems like I’m getting stability inbetween eating and overnight, but I’m still not able to take what I’d call a “proper” ratio with my meals...

    Shuggah - 2 questions

Thanks Jordan and Holdem. I’ve done it and it’s working. How brilliant as I’m about to go out for a long walk so I’ll be able to updated automatically! Happy new year to everyone.

    Shuggah - 2 questions

Hi holdem, Thanks for trying. It really is a puzzle. I’m all ears if you have another theory, or if anyone else has stumbled across the solution.

    Shuggah - 2 questions

Hi holdem, I’m afraid not on the constant feed issue. It’s really hit and miss. I get a big pop up occasionally and tap on it rather than “dismiss” and then get the large numbers which constantly update, but it doesn’t always update if I have just the normal watch face on. I’ve just had to get...

    Tresiba Flexpen Availability UK

I’ve made the switch to the cartridges in the novopen and I haven’t noticed any issues with dose delivery. Although my original DSN always told me to count to ten with every injection, which I duly do. Being insulin sensitive and perimenopausal (so insulin needs change regularly), I’m loving...

    Shuggah - 2 questions

Hi Artrex, I’m having the same problems with my Apple Watch since the big 17.0 upgrade. It didn’t do selective readings on the watch face before the recent major software update. It just flashed up every minute with the new value. I also have the loss of connection problem and sometimes I have...

switching basal from night to morning

My endo instructed me to move the timing of my Tresiba last year and told me to do it gradually by 2 hours a day until I got to the correct time. On a side issue, he says that even though the makers of Tresiba say it doesn’t matter what time of day it’s taken - it actually does. He told me...

    Tresiba Flexpen Availability UK

Thank you both for your speedy replies. I really didn’t know I could opt for Tresiba in a cartridge form until today. I will definitely make the change by getting in touch with my gp. I’ve realised the added benefit to me is the half unit measure in the echo pen, as I’m so sensitive sometimes...

    Tresiba Flexpen Availability UK

Good afternoon all, Has anyone had problems in having their usual Tresiba flexpen prescription fulfilled? My chemist today said it was out of stock for the foreseeable future so I’ve googled and Diabetes.org.uk are saying it’s not available from august 2023 until January 2024 but 3ml...

Issue with Libre - blank screen

Hi all, Here’s what I do. I discovered Shuggah in may before all the libre app problems and haven’t looked back since but I have the best of both worlds…. 1) I activate every new sensor with the libre reader. 2) I then make sure blue tooth is “on” the libre app on my phone and start the...

    xDrip alternative for iPhone?

I’ve got an iPhone and am using Shuggah. It works really well. The alarms are great. Better than libre. You just need to do the odd scan to keep your libre graphs joined up. It’s a total game changer for me. Feel like I’ve improved my control massively and it’s showing in my stats. I’ve also got...

    Libre 2 Sensor

Hi. I can’t comment on the tech aspect, but I put a new tegaderm on every sensor which lasts the full 2 weeks. It’s a small square, and very very thin and transparent medical dressing and even though I am allergic to plasters and the sticky coverings InResponse mentioned, the tegaderm dressing...
