Yes, I was given the slow release Metformin to start with. I just find Forxiga much better, no sudden, urgent need for the loo! My GP said that not everyone is suited to Metformin, just wondered how other people found it. Forxiga has been life changing for me! I can finally make arrangements...

I bought the oaty ones and the digestives, sugar free and very palatable! Am I missing something, or can they be part of a calorie controlled diet? Any advice, thoughts or comments?

Thanks for this. I have been following a low carb, not NO carb diet, and so far, so good! All replies seem fairly positive, and I feel 100% better than I did. I will keep an eye open for side effects - but nothing can be as bad as the side effects of Metformin for me! x

Hello, I would value your opinions. I have recently been changed from Metformin (due to extreme diarrhoea over some months) to Forxiga. Although I have to drink LOTS of water, so far it is suiting me much more. Anyone else on this, and what are your experiences/thoughts? TIA

I might try Berberine tea, can’t be worse than Metformin!
