    Glucose patterns.

Did you mean this post to be here? Ah I realise now what you have done. Firstly I hade rny bypass not band. I had my rny surgery 13 years ago the erratic sugars are recent so not sure they are connected. I've had in the past rosiglitazone, gliclacide, metformin (still taking), sitagliptin...

My team started me on glimepiride couple months back and want me to monitor and get my a1c done in January. There's a definite pattern to my glucose levels. Levelling most of the night then spiking like heck during the day regardless of what I eat. Maximum carbs with any meal is around 20 grams...

I get the same and I can't fathom it out either. I tap to open, app opens and nothing there to do. On this subject how do I get a reader. I know my phone app does the job but I used a friend's reader and it scans so much easier. I sometimes have to take 5-6 attempt with the phone but reader...

Libre on prescription for type 2

Question Where do I get a reader? Are they better at reading than a phone as I'm finding that sometimes I seem to spend ages trying to get my phone to read or is there a knack to it.

That's shocking, it was my understanding that all type 1 now got these or the dexcom system. I would chase this up if I was you.

High sugar after 20 hour fasting

Having a colonoscopy today and as part of that had no food since lunch, about 1, yesterday. Not had my meds either, type 2. My sugars have been in range , around 7 all that time, now my reading has gone up to 10.8 and is rising. How on earth can that be when 3verything has been evacuated from my...

Libre on prescription for type 2

I messaged my gp on Friday asking about the possibility of getting the libre on prescription. I take glimepiride and it can cause hypos. I explained I had been using a libre I got free and it warned me of hypos 3 times. The low sugars happened within an hour of being quite high so if I had been...

Reading with interest as my trial one ends today [emoji24] I really wish I could get more. My new meds can cause hypos and this told me I was having one before the symptoms kicked in.

    Gastric band

I had rny 13 years ago, I had other comorbidities as well as t2. As you said my remission lasted about 5 years . My glucose levels have been steady using metformin and sitagliptin for a few years until fairly recently and are now erratic, without me having made changes to diet. Currently trying...
