Anyone changed from one to the other and how did it work out please

After routine diabetes eye photos have had letter to attend clinic in a few months which givws me a dillemma ,need new specs as sight has generally changed but do I need to wait ,for instance how many of you have this and clinic just a way of monitoring it rather than treatment ???

Dose correct and have been carb counting for 25 years but have never had this problem before 4 months back when I was ill and have tried earlier later dosing also changed bolus ratio but still cannot get control back so thats why I was wondering about the insulin

Still having trouble with my control and wondering if a different insulin might help or are they mostly the same

Had new cgm following scans and also check meter pre bolus so its a mystery amd going to ask for referral to county dns for help but that will be at least a couple of weeks so just hoping when really hot weather ends things might improve as really stuck for ideas

the heat may be a factor ,insulin is now a new pen from fridge so thats not it however had nuclear heart scans two weeks ago so wondering if the injected radiation is a factor ,Thanks for replies I appreciate it

As insulin dependant type 2 now find bgs are soaring and nothing helps .Not eating any differently to usual but glucose goes up and up then due to severe i r adding more insulin just makes even higher readings .Am active walking daily rarely sit still so at a loss for answer as gfr 50% so...

Have asked gp via nurse for this as I dont feel nightime hypos but nurse says type 2 dont get them so not hopeful

Thanks for that .I rang csan dept to ask about sensor and its okay ,very glad I contacted them as appt is for 2 weeks time and have not recieved any notification so this info was a blessing

Am waiting for appt for this scan and wondering if my libre sensor will need to be removed for it
