How can i test my pen is actually giving the right amount of insulin Just fired three pens with 20 units dialed up into plastic end cap and one only had quarter inch in cap where other two a little more but not up to fill line so how do i know if pen is faulty

Hi the needles I use are insupen 4mm and they are really fine so thats what made me want to check as have a new insulin pen which may not work well with the needles so thanks all

Read several years back that to check pen is giving correct amount dialed up that you can squirt so much insulin into needle cap up to line but I cannot recall how much it should be ,can anyone help please

Update on this ,I have what looks like fibromyalgia symptoms and awaiting results of bloods so even if I was almost pain free at the time my glucose knew something was wrong ,have been fighting highs ever since

HI all just had for me and unexpected and record 21.5 ,had bolused correctly so was very startled to see this then realized its weekend and no one available diabetes wise so what do we do for info ? I did add loads more insulin and its dropping but its a worry where that came from
