    Hi all - just wondered if anyone else had high blood pressure after commencing lchf? I know it's normally the opposite but mine was sky high 2day at GPs & never has been before!!! Gotta go back in a few days!

    Hi and welcome! I tend to go for low carb or no carb options as snacks otherwise I'd have to inject for snacks. I normally opt for nuts, celery sticks, cheese, boiled eggs...... I'm veggie but I'm sure non-veggies would go for meat, tinned fish etc as well. HTH & all the best.

    Great advice from everyone. I've had a few general anaesthetics too but only one (June this year) as a type 1. I was well looked after, monitored and bgs around 8 the whole time. Came round quickly and discharged fairly quickly. All the best on Thurs @AnnieC .

    No, no headaches for me but dizzy spells so have increased my fluids and started adding salt to foods!
