    Pump not working correctly?!

Hi all - puzzled today- I changed the infusion set this morning and assumed all was okay. Scanned my libre & saw my sugars creeping up, corrected, ate some carrots & hummus (dosed for this) & by the time I was home I was at 20!!!!! I can only assume the pump wasn't working properly. I think the...

Agree / I feel fine within a few minutes but feel far worse when sugars run high. Last hypo was last week after an aerobic class.

    Type 1: Struggling to sleep

Hi - not sure if there's a relationship between the two but I am a 'night owl' & struggle to get to sleep. Sometimes I wonder if it's worry but not sure if there's a link between T1D & sleep.

    Airport Security

I was asked to go through the full body scanner last summer at Gatwick. The Security Officer insisted it would be fine! [emoji51] Whereas Mahon & Basel airports were quite aware of it. The 2nd time out of Gatwick they were fine.

    Insight Pump Advice new user

Hi @slayer - I have the Insight pump. When I get a new infusion set out (around every 5 days) the tubing is part of that so I just pop a new 1 on then. Yes my last cannula made my tummy bleed but it doesn't always. I think @himtoo is right - the basal was probably set like that & your DSN can...

    Massage/scrubs and pumps

Yes I've had massages a couple of times with the pump. As @Snapsy said - I moved the cannula to my tummy and took the pump out of its belt. I have also disconnected it when I had a 30min back massage. Sugars were fine. Enjoy the massage! [emoji2]
