    Things have got bad again

Thank you. Yes its a struggle. I can't really plan meals as what I might think I want to eat on Thursday...is not what i want when that day comes. I hate having to buy food and 'guess' what it is that I will eat in 48 hours time. And I'm Autistic, I'm supposed to be good at planning things.

    Things have got bad again

Seems a while since I last posted. After two HbA1c readings of 41 in succession I liked to think that, somehow, I was getting somewhere, albeit by accident over design,. But then, as often happens, things started to fall apart. I found I could no longer tolerate the LCHF diet. I just...

    HbA1c result- very surprised

I'll certainly keep an eye on things. Thankfully I have discovered that things like bread, pasta etc are actually, to me, pretty un-enjoyable and I still have an eye on the healthier options. I have some diabetic biccies and sweets now so that helps with sweet cravings not that they arise very...

    HbA1c result- very surprised

I haven't measured my carbs at all. I seem to have gone from very few to quite a lot, in my opinion, and have eaten potato, pizza, bread etc...and quite a lot of sweet stuff.. But yes, I may have shed some organ fat and the exercise has obviously helped.

    HbA1c result- very surprised

Short history. Weight 15st 9lb in December 2018. Needed Op in March 2019- HbA1c was 78. Couldn't have operation as level over 70. Started losing weight (LCHF diet) and next Hba1c was 57. By time of operation and HbA1c the week before, in early April, I weighed 13st 5Lb and HbA1c was 41...

So...alongside the fact I am Autistic, have diabetes, fibromylagia and have had two strokes.. Another little diagnosis and another medication to take. Still, I am still here... (Just don't mention the HbA1c!!)

    Slowly starting the journey back

Hi, Having a bad time. Finding the struggle very real as I keep falling off the wagon again. Too much else happening in my life. ADHD diagnosis, new meds for that and some very unsettling changes at work. Feeling overwhelmed.
