Hope you're feeling better now? I agree with other posters that it was most likely the tape coming loose that caused a kink. A kink at insertion should have caused your pump to alarm. If the tape situation happens again you can always use a strip of Mefix tape to keep it down until you are ready...

I am using teflon but non of the sets have been kinked - all perfectly straight. I have tried steel in the past but the sites leaked even with my Vibe on slow insulin came out and my BG was awful on them. Plus I am needle phobic and don;t want to have to change every 2 days.
