I've had a few of these and find they way they effect BG varies. Sometimes they stop the insulin working properly and other times they make it super efficient. Still gross when you puul the cannula out though!

Make sure the area is really clean and dry and then once you've stuck the set down blast it with a hairdryer (without insulin tubing attached) as this warms up the glue and helps it stick better. I do this in hot weather and it really helps. Got this tip off another pumper :)

Have you considered using a Freestyle Libre to support getting your BG down? A lot of clinics will now let you trial this for 2 weeks so worth asking first.
