    Whatever type you are the sooner you can get the level of control that suits you and helps you live your life to the full the better - the curtain can fall for all sorts of reasons but I'm not aware of statistics being a direct cause.

    I'm a T2 also therefore no help but I read your thread after a difficult day at work and am now kicking myself as what I have to put up with is miniscule in comparison. Keep strong, keep the eye on the pump and I wish you well.

    Seems like your new diet has had an effect. Suggest you relay this information to your medical team for advice on any interim change of medication.
