In Spain where I live the system is quite good you have a credit card type card and the doctor puts it in his computer and adds prescriptions and length of time and then you take it to the chemists and they put it in their computer and dispense the medicines . Good system as long as you don't...

Good luck Andrew I have just come out 2 days ago offer hip replacement I had to be there for 7am but did not go to down for op until 11.30 took good 24 hours to recover from anesthetic but bloods were checked twice a day and stayed down x

Hi Zand you are being a good girl such a long walk as well ! Don't think I will be able to match that yet but feeling really good and positive about getting back to normal, I know I can't rush things got to go back to hospital next week to get dressing removed which has started itching so...

Now I am back home after my operation I have to exercise every day so do you mind if I join you ?i am only able to do short walks on my Zimmer frame at moment but will do it 5 times a day as I really want to get back to normal.

Hate to say it but as my hubbie has been at the hospital every day dare I say doggies !

Just an update came through operation ok lot of pain first night but have been up walking with a Zimmer frame today and even managed to go to the loo so all looking good for going home tomorrow
