    Warranty ending

I don't think it someone's loss its just how different area's work the UK does not have a one rule for all, which I think is bad but then I live in France, where it is one rule for all here if you full fill the criteria you get it if you don't you don't, there is no difference where you live

You could've knocked me over with a feather...

Nurse's are still coming out to me here in France, I am glad to say, I have had some teleconferences with a couble of specialist doctors at my request but I end up saying everything is alright when I know its not

    Dare to dream?

I have also signed up for imformation but I think it would not be any good for me unless it worked with my pump and I cannot see that happening but who knows,

    Insulin Pump?

Very off topic, but your post made me think if I was a car, I think I would be a 50,s or 60,s mini, I would think I was sporty and fast but I would be just a small tin can and not very fast

    Insulin Pump?

Many reasons, one is how easy it is to give yourself insulin for a meal, a main meal is normally easy but when you are out and you are offered a snack it is much better to just use your pump, control is another important reason you notice your blood sugers are going up or down is easy to just do...

    Thank you xdrip

After using xdrip, miao miao and smartwatch for 1 year now, I would just like to say thank you to all the people involved in xdrip etc, I have been using the freestyle libre for the last 3years and finding xdrip made using libre just so much better with the pridictive alarms low high alarms and...

    Miaomiao 2 v Bubble v Nightscout

I have been using the libre with xdrip miao miao 2 and a smartwatch for the last year, it is certainly better than just the libre but I still found the libre not to be very accurate some of the time, so I am about to change to enlite 2 sensers as I have the 640g insulin pump, I did use the...

    Medtronic 780G, new pump user!

It does seem if you work very hard and control your diabetes and we all know it can be hard work, you are less likely to get the best equipment to help you, still its nice at least some get the help they need,

    Medtronic 780G, new pump user!

No such luck here thats what they are offering me, we will have to wait a while here before we all get the 780g plus the cgmg,s I dont mind waiting, don't get me wrong I think it is great that everybody is getting the 780g with cgm it is certainly a great improvement from when I was in the UK...

    Medtronic 780G, new pump user!

That's a shame, it is one thing I have always liked about the 640g and the veo that you could do a blood test and it would automatically send it to the pump. As I will shortly be going on to enlite sensors instead of the libre sensors I hope the 640g will still allow reading automatically...

    Medtronic 780G, new pump user!

Glad you have got started on the 780g, just a quick question can you not use contour next 2.4 glucose meter or does that no longer connect directly to the pump, hope it all goes well for you, by the way not all over 60s are not good with technology, let us know how you get on in auto mode.

    Medtronic 780G, new pump user!

I could but at over 300 euros a month it would remove a very big chunk from my pension, so no I would not self fund, I did 8 years ago with the enlite senser for a short while, so for now I will have to continue with the libre and xdrip, but who knows things change so fast nowadays, cgm,s May...

    Medtronic 780G, new pump user!

Yes I am very interested in the 780g with the cgm not available here in France at the moment but one day it will be, I am still on libre xdrip and smartwatch good but not perfect, so keep postings to let us know how good it is, no doubt it will have some problems or just take time to get to...

    Freestyle libre problems

I have had problems with the accuracy of the libre for the last 3 years, have been using xdrip and miao miao for the last 6months and it has helped but it is not perfect if the libre is not accurate apart from daily or twice daily calibrations there is not much more you can do, I have just...

    Daughter 12 taken off pump

Sounds really daft, I have never heard of this, at 12 years old I would have thought this is just the time you need your pump, I live in France so I do not know the rules in the UK they may of course have a good reason but if this happens to all 12 year olds it needs to change, hope you get your...

Type 1: What are your HbA1c test results?

7.2 Hb1c, My worst one for 15 years, I have been trying to stop the lows with some success, Although I use the libre, xdrip etc, I still find the libre not to be very accurate but have just started to calibrate 2 times a day to see if that helps
