    Dietitian and Low Carbs

As someone who has done low carb/low GI for years and I don't care how much fat I eat I would like to know how much protein is too much as I eat a lot of protein to stop me being hungry . Maybe I should be bothered about my kidneys? I do exercise a lot. My fasting bs is beginning to creep up now...

    Morning blood sugar

I find this CoQ10 stuff very interesting as it is new to me. I find that taking Milk Thistle - a liver tonic- makes my fasting figures normal. I take 30 drops twice a day. I also agree that if I am ill my numbers can go up to 8 and there is nothing ytou can do about it until the cold or whatever...

    huge conflict with dietician

I'm afraid health professionals can't think further than the latest guidelines and that is it. But we know that we know better and we have clinical proof of this!!! I have managed to stay off meds for 7 years now with low carbing but I have to admit it is becoming more difficult to stay below...

I've tried the Vick and all it did was discolour my nails.(Tried the cider vinegar twice now without success) I've been nails doing the Listerine for about 3 weeks. I made the cake up again - this time with unsalted butter and flavoured with cinnamon and coffee. I may have also put some xylitol in . I baked the mixture in muffin tins and froze the little cakes just getting out what I need. At the same time I made a batch of the Durkin muffins (with oat...

    Apples

The best advice I was ever given by a diabetic nurse was to only eat fruit with a meal so I eat my fruit with each meal as I love fruit!!! I always buy the small fun sizeed apples and pears, never large ones :)

    Coconut flour

I wonder if it would have been OK if I had put it in the fridge? Maybe next time I will pour the mixture into cake cases and freeze and then get out daily or as I want one. Also I decided that the reason it tasted a bit salty was because I used salted butter derrrr!!!!

The Terrasil worked great on my psoriasis and have ordered more as the little 14g tub was gone in a week. I have just bought some Listerine - the original one- and am using it twice a day. I will be so impressed if I ever see any healthy nail growing!!! I think my problem could be psoriasis toe...
