    Chocolate with novo rapid??

    I will eat chocolate with a meal, not on its own as a snack, meaning it can be released correctly with the meal. I will always count the carbs in the chocolate and give novorapid for the chocolate as well as the meal.

    Im 16 and have only been diagnosed for 4 months. I am a keen horse rider, and wouldn't let this stop me! I spoke to my DSN about it and she came up with an exercise plan for me. Told me what exercide functions(with reduce of insulin) to use for riding, yard work and the gym. I got straight back...

    Longest lasting hypoglycemia.

    I treat mine with 5-6 gluco tabs which js 20-24g. I then have to wait 20 minutes to check as it would normally go up!

    Thats happened to me too, took like 50 minutes for it to come up[emoji31] Then you check later on, and your blood sugars have rocketed up!

    Illness

    Okay thanks. Maybe thats why i have had a hypo the last 2 nights then. But i will definitely check my levels every couple of hours.
