    6.0 at 7:40am I’m really cross as thought it should be a bit lower. I took soluable Paracetamol at 5am because of pain in my knee and shoulder and went back to sleep. I‘ve just checked the ingredients and they contain aspartame :mad: Have a marvellous Monday everyone x

    I finished my pudding of raspberries, a teaspoon of sweetener and cottage cheese (I love cottage cheese) at 6:40. off to bed know and hoping I have a better night. well done everyone for sticking with it ;)

    5.1 at 7am! Never been know to be so low since diagnosis so maybe this ‘stop eating by 7pm‘ challenge is working. I had a **** nights sleep though :( Have a happy Saturday everyone x

    I’m wide awake (1:30am!) and I’ve made a decaf with cream. I’d usually reach for a slice of cheese but I’ve been able to resist. I have a bit of a sore throat so hope this isn’t the start of a bug and it’s just lack of sleep :rolleyes:

    Type 2 Three day water fast ... a question for all who do or have done this please.

    The advice I’ve read it to go very light following a fast so you don’t get a upset tummy, like bone broth, but I’m sure an omelette isn’t too bad as long as it was made with just one egg. Well done on the fast of 72 hours

    Brekki - Coffee with almond milk and double cream. Kefir. A square of low carb sheet pan blueberry pancake. Lunch - 2 slices of Hovis 50 toast with butter and 2 slices Emmental. Coffee with cream. Dinner - roast chicken with a tablespoon of stuffing. Square of blueberry pancake

    Effect of exercise on pancreas

    I don’t do any exercise (apart from walking my dogs everyday for 30-40 minutes but it’s mainly a stroll) as I have a back injury. I have brought my hba1c down from being in the 90s to 54 by just eating low carb. When you say you’re being more strict with your diet, what’s your typical day food wise?

    5.7mmols at 7:20 this very windy Friday. I’m sure being in the 5s has something to do with not eating after 7pm Very windy here, nearly knocked me off my feet when I went to let the chickens out. I can’t wait until they start laying eggs! Have a fab Friday everyone x

    Off to beddy bys in a minute! I finished eating at 6:20. I made sheet pan pancakes following a YouTube channel. she didn’t say how many carbs per serving but she makes keto and low carb stuff. Hope I haven’t eaten too much :rolleyes:

    Great result well done. I reduced mine by almost half so I can have an operation but I did mine going low carb. Because of my back injury I can’t do gym exercises right now but I did enjoy it when I used to go.
